How cats got their whiskers

One sunny morning, a small ginger cat was walking along the forest path looking for food. There were bright green trees swaying from left to right. Near the heart of the forest was a glimmering pond. There were leaves falling from trees, healthy plants and animals gave life to the quiet, peaceful forest. The air was fresh. Alongside the pond would be, flowers to smell and warm grass to relax in. The sun would break through holes in the trees above. The small ginger cat walked through the forest, to the pond. The cat looked at another cat, who was staring back at him in the water. As he backed away, the other cat disappeared. The ginger cat then lay in the warm grassy bed, thinking, how plain he looked. He suddenly heard a rumble, noticing that it came from his own stomach. The cat left the grass bed and left in search for food. He walked on and on, but then he saw a glimpse of red roses. Thinking that they were raspberry´s, he raced towards it, dodging bushes that were in his way, without thinking twice. He jumped straight into the rose bush. YOUCH! As he came out, thorns were stuck to his cheeks. Three on each side. And that was how the cats got their whiskers.
